Phoenix Drilling were instructed to undertake a ground investigation for the construction of a replacement footbridge to regain access to the East Beach. The previous bridge was closed over a year ago on safety grounds and as an iconic part of the Moray coastline the local community are keen to have access reinstated.  With boreholes located both land side and beach side we worked around tide constraints using our modular rig and support from our Hagglund BV206 all-terrain vehicle to gain access to positions during low tide.
